This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases made through cotopaxifx.shop.

We want customers to understand their return, withdrawal, refund, and statutory consumer rights before making a purchase.

1. German and EU Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer purchasing goods online in Germany, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible distance contract within 14 days, subject to statutory exceptions.

Our policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable German and European Union consumer protection law. Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

2. Fourteen-Day Right of Withdrawal

For eligible purchases, you may withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days without providing a reason.

For purchases involving goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods, subject to the applicable statutory rules.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform cotopaxifx.shop of your decision through a clear and unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

You do not need to provide a specific reason for exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

3. Return Procedure

If you wish to return an eligible product, please contact info@cotopaxifx.shop with:

• Your order number;
• The name used to place the order;
• The product you wish to return;
• The reason for the return, where applicable; and
• Photographs where the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

For a statutory withdrawal, providing a reason is optional.

Our customer service team will provide appropriate return instructions.

Do not send merchandise to an address that has not been provided or confirmed for your return, because return processing locations may differ from shipping or fulfilment locations.

4. Return Deadline Following Withdrawal

Where you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, returned goods should be dispatched without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law following notification of withdrawal.

Customers should retain proof of return shipment until the refund has been completed.

5. Condition of Returned Products

You are entitled to inspect a product in the same manner as you reasonably could in a physical retail store in order to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Customers may be responsible for a reduction in the value of goods where that reduction results from handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, where permitted by applicable law.

Whenever reasonably possible, returned products should include their original packaging, accessories, documentation, components, and other materials supplied with the product.

The absence of original packaging does not automatically eliminate statutory rights where such rights apply.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Unless cotopaxifx.shop agrees otherwise or applicable law requires us to bear the cost, customers exercising a statutory withdrawal right may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

Where an item is confirmed to be defective, damaged upon arrival, materially different from what was ordered, or incorrectly supplied because of an error attributable to cotopaxifx.shop, we may provide an appropriate solution that can include covering reasonable return costs.

German law permits direct return costs following withdrawal to be allocated to the consumer where the consumer has been properly informed of that obligation.

7. Refunds After Withdrawal

When a statutory withdrawal is validly exercised, eligible payments will be reimbursed in accordance with applicable law.

Where required, this includes the amount paid for the returned goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the relevant purchase.

Because cotopaxifx.shop provides free standard shipping, no standard outbound shipping charge is normally paid by the customer.

Any additional cost resulting from a customer's voluntary selection of a more expensive delivery method, if such a method is offered, does not necessarily have to be reimbursed beyond the amount corresponding to the least expensive standard delivery method.

8. Refund Timing

Eligible statutory withdrawal refunds are processed within the applicable legal period.

For sales of goods, cotopaxifx.shop may withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides evidence that the goods have been dispatched, whichever occurs first, unless cotopaxifx.shop has offered to collect the goods.

German law provides for reimbursement within the applicable 14-day framework and permits reimbursement to be withheld in qualifying sales-of-goods cases until receipt of the goods or proof of dispatch.

9. Refund Method

Unless otherwise agreed and legally permissible, refunds will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

The customer will not be charged an additional refund fee merely because the original payment method is used for reimbursement.

After a refund is submitted, the time required for the funds to appear in the customer's account may depend on the bank, card issuer, payment service provider, or financial institution.

10. Damaged Products

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

Please provide:

• Your order number;
• A description of the damage;
• Photographs clearly showing the damaged product;
• Photographs of the packaging where relevant; and
• Any other information reasonably required to investigate the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable rights, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, price reduction, refund, or another legally available remedy.

11. Defective Products and Statutory Warranty Rights

The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from legal rights relating to defective goods.

A customer may therefore have rights concerning a defective product even after the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.

Under German law, ordinary claims relating to defects in goods are generally subject to a two-year limitation period from delivery, subject to statutory rules and exceptions.

This Return and Refund Policy does not reduce statutory rights relating to non-conforming or defective goods.

12. Incorrect Products

Please provide the order number and photographs showing the product received.

Once the issue has been verified, cotopaxifx.shop will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

13. Missing Items

If your package arrives but one or more products are missing, contact us promptly.

Please retain the original packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

We may request photographs of the package, shipping label, packaging contents, and products received.

14. Packages Damaged During Delivery

If the exterior package appears damaged when delivered, customers are encouraged to photograph the package before opening it.

Where possible, also photograph any damage to the contents.

Such evidence can assist us in reviewing the matter with the carrier or fulfilment provider.

15. Exceptions to Statutory Withdrawal Rights

Applicable law may provide exceptions to the right of withdrawal for certain categories of products or contracts.

Depending on the products sold, exceptions can include, where legally applicable:

• Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
• Goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• Sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
• Certain sealed audio, video, or software products after unsealing;

• Other goods or services expressly excluded under applicable law.

An exception will only be applied where it is legally applicable to the particular transaction.

16. Sale and Promotional Products

Statutory consumer rights are not removed merely because a product was purchased at a discounted or promotional price.

If an item qualifies for withdrawal or another statutory remedy, the fact that it was discounted does not by itself eliminate those rights.

17. Exchanges

Where operationally available, we may assist with exchanges.

However, an exchange is not guaranteed for every product or order and may depend on stock availability.

Where an exchange cannot be offered, a customer may return an eligible item and place a new order, subject to the applicable return and withdrawal rules.

18. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

We will attempt to stop processing where reasonably possible.

Because fulfilment may begin shortly after an order is placed, we cannot guarantee that an order can be stopped before shipment.

This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal that may apply after delivery.

19. Refused or Unclaimed Parcels

Refusing a parcel or failing to collect a parcel is not necessarily the same as validly exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

Customers wishing to withdraw from a purchase should send a clear statement of withdrawal to cotopaxifx.shop.

Additional costs resulting from an unjustified failure to receive a shipment may be handled in accordance with applicable law.

20. Fraudulent Return Requests

cotopaxifx.shop reserves the right to investigate suspected return fraud, including manipulation of photographs, substitution of products, false non-delivery claims, or return of goods that were not purchased through our store.

This provision does not limit legitimate statutory consumer rights.
